The 2019 Sierra and Silverado Feature a New Perimeter Lighting System

The new lighting options are available on the three top trim levels of the 2019 GMC Sierra as well as several levels of the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado. Better Visibility = Enhanced Safety

There are eight distinct locations where the Perimeter Lighting System will provide illumination:

  • Rear corners of the bed
  • The front section of the side mirrors
  • Near the tailgate handle
  • Above the rear glass
  • As part of the reverse lights

While this innovative lighting system is not available on all trim models for these vehicle lines, it does offer an added bonus for individuals who were already looking at the enhanced technology and available features.
