On 09/5/19 I took my GM certified GMC Sierra SLT 1500 for service. The touch screen /IntelliLink has not been responding, it locks up. Had it back to Cappellino Chevy 3 times for the same problem, and was recalibrated, so I was told, and am still having the same problem. Penny the Service Advisor,Carin in the sales dept, have tried to help me with this issue. They know about, because when I took delivery of the vehicle, Carin could hardly get the screen to respond. I also have a issue of excessive smoke coming out of the tailpipe, when the vehicle sits for 2 days or more, and will also after one day of sitting, but not as much. When I took my vehicle for service on 09/05/19 I was told there was no loaner available. My wife and I went to Cappellino to check on my vehicle, on 09/11/19 and was told they didn't have time to look at it. I was told I could have a loaner on 09/11/19, which is totally unacceptable. Our Family has purchased at least 30 vehicles over the years and to get this treatment just very disappointing . When I purchased my GMC Sierra SLT in Febuary I was told I would get a loaner vehicle, when I am having service work done. I pulled my GMC Sierra SLT and took it to another GM Dealer. There have been other issues, and would like someone from Chevy to call me, so I can explain in detail what goes on.
