My Experience: (1) I made a service appointment for Thursday, July 28th at 11 AM. Service requested for my 2019Chevy Bolt was 2 recall items and a tire rotation. I drove 30 minutes to arrive in time for the appointment. When I got there, the service consultant told me that the only mechanic certified to do the recall items called in and was not going to be at the shop that day. Question: Why couldn't the service consultant have called me to re-schedule before I drove to your location? (2) I re-scheduled to Thursday, August 24th at 9 AM the service of the recall items. It was estimated that the work should be completed that day and that the dealer could pick me up to take me back to the dealer location. I dropped off the car and Don gave me a ride back to my house. In the afternoon, the service consultant called and said that while they were able to complete one of the recall items, the other would not be completed till Friday, because they needed to order a part that they did not have on hand. Question: why did service not make sure that the part was on site the day of my service appointment? They knew what the recall item was and should have ordered it so that it was there when I arrived with the car. (3) On Friday the recall item is completed. I get a call from the service consultant that the car is ready to be picked up. I remind him that I asked for a ride back to the dealer in order to pick up the car. He tells me that the employee who does the rides has left and there's no one there who can do that task. I have to impose upon a friend to take me to the dealer to pick up the car. In conclusion, I found this level of service to be very frustrating and time-consuming. I think that those in the service department might need to do more planning rather than be reactive to events. I hope this summary of events helps you understand why I graded Cappellino so low this time. Thanks.
